Conductive compositions based on transient liquid phase sintering (TLPS) offer a key advantage in High Density Interconnect applications as they form alloyed connections to the circuit pads. The TLPS compositions are patterned in a number of different approaches including stenciling and pre-filling of a dielectric bond-ply. Ormets active client and partners are designing with this parallel build-up approach that use standard lamination processes to achieve designs with greater reliability and yield.
